久々のディベート（またまた敗北）

とある私的な勉強会で、ディベートをやりました。まず私と、主催者（木田さん）の二人で、模擬ディベートをやって、その後参加者の方々にディベートをやっていただきました。

木田さんを相手に模擬ディベートをやったのは二回目ですが、参加者の皆さんに挙手してもらったところ、木田さんの圧倒的勝利に！自分が、"Audience Style"のディベーターとして、まだまだ未熟だということを痛感しました。

私が長年やってきたディベートは、訓練されたディベーターが、審判として勝敗を判定します。しかし現実の世の中では、そんなことはほとんどありません。様々な先入観や感情的な主観を持った一般聴衆の相手に説得しなければならないことの方が、多いと思います。

自分が、Audienceの微妙な表情の動きや、感情の動きを全く読めていなかったという点には、大いに反省させられました。木田さんもブログで書いていましたが、ディベートは非常に奥が深く、12-14年ほど経験を積んだ自分でも、まだまだ初歩の入口に立ったばかりという気がします。
